Haversham Road (4 acres).

The Trotman Preserve is four acres of wooded habitat, part of WFC’s cluster of four conservation properties in Haversham. It is dominated by Oak Maple forest and Red Cedar mixed woodlands. A profusion of species including many small mammals, particularly migratory birds make their homes in these woods. Gray Catbird, Northern Cardinal, American Goldfinch, American Redstart and American Robin among the most prevalent species observed on the property. The property is contiguous to the St. John’s Preserve, across from the Ninigret/Dunn Farm and its adjacent Perry/Evans property, thus offering a greater sized habitat to these species than otherwise possible.
