Silver Farm
This expansive 78-acre farm is located between Route 1 and the Pawcatuck River, comprised of managed hayfield, pasture, secondary woodland, red maple swamp, a perennial, and a dug pond with associated marsh, red maple swamp and ruderal forest. A variety of birds, including American Goldfinch, American Robin, Black-capped Chickadee, Blue Jay, Eastern Kingbird, Great Crested Flycatcher, Red-tailed Hawk, White-breasted Nuthatch, White-throated Sparrow, Yellow-rumped Warbler, as well as White-tailed Deer and Gray Treefrog make their homes here.
