As part of the Foundation’s ongoing maintenance and capital improvement projects at the Weekapaug Innlet, we restructured and repaired the parking lot to improve its overall condition and enhance safety. Flower gardens were reduced in size and entrance burms were eliminated to improve visibility. Additionally, the entire parking area was resurfaced to provide a smoother and more durable surface.

The WFC also erected a fence between the parking and outdoor eating areas and purchased new picnic tables and shade umbrellas to replace the deteriorating wooden tables.
